Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Attar who narrated from Abu Sa’id al-Adamy, from Al-Hassan ibn al-Hussein al-Lu’lu’ee, from Muhammad ibn Sin’an that Hazifat ibn Mansoor said that he had heard Imam Sadiq (pbuh) say:

Some people of Quraysh lacked gentleness and courtesy in dealing with others, so they were cast out from Quraysh — and by Allah, there was nothing wrong with their lineage. And some people from outside Quraysh showed good manners and forbearance, so they were elevated to the noble house (of honor).

Then he said: Whoever restrains his hand from harming people, only withholds one hand — but in return, many hands are withheld from harming him.

Al-Khisal,Book 2,Chapter 52
